Stay Tuned ;o)

We run a small beacon in the 23 cm amateur band (1296.875 MHz).

It is in the test-phase, located on my QTH in the northern part af Esbjerg, JO45FM

oz2vhf antenna
Antenna is a vertical three-band X5000, gain at 1296 MHz 11.7 dB,
heigth above ground 2.5 meter, above sea 25 meter.

oz2vhf transmitter
Transmitter is a Storno CQM5662 with a tripler, driver and PA instead of the original 70 cm output stage.
Output at the moment 125 mW.
See this for more details.

oz2vhf keyer
CW-Keyer is a PIC16F84, message : test de oz2vhf jo45fm.

GM4OGI reported, that he heard the beacon the 5. of July 2006, at that time with 250 mWatt output.

We will asap change antenna to horizontal, and raise the output.
And then we will move to a better location.

The beacon OZ2VHF on 6 meter (50.062MHz) is QRT at the moment,
because the QTH was not useable any longer.
When we get another QTH the 6 meter beacon will be operative again.

More info will be published here, as the project moves along.
